Today in Weezer History: 11/23/2001 - Weezer plays The Long Beach Arena on the Extended Midget Tour with Tenacious D and Jimmy Eat World. This was the biggest show of the Extended Midget Tour, with a sold out 12,000 capacity. Backstage was crawling with guests including our old buddy Darrin Pfieffer from Goldfinger, and Tony Hawk, who gave the band a set of autographed skateboards. He was "…surrounded at all times by a cloud of li'l skate rats, like the X-treme pied piper..."
