Just seeing there's a lot of strong soapbox-y language here, without sources to back it up. How do we know that he didn't speak to actual band members? And didn't he talk to Pat at length? Luerssen mentions the process of contacting the band (got a small bite from Pat early on, who later withdrew and the complete lack of interest from the rest of the band) in the book's intro. Looks like HMC added this to the article.
