In the linear notes for the deluxe edition of the Red Album, Rivers states that the song was originally abandoned by the band during the demo sessions and it was Scott who wanted it. Scott apparently called Rivers up one night and pretty much demanded they record it because it was his favorite track from Rivers' Deliverance at Hand! demos. Rivers responded saying (perhaps jokingly) that if he [Scott] wanted the song so bad he should sing it because [Rivers] didn't want to. | |||
