'''''Alone III: The Pinkerton Years 1994-1997''''' is a compilation album by [[Weezer]] frontman [[Rivers Cuomo]].  It will be the third entry in the [[Alone Series]] following [[2007]]'s ''[[Alone: The Home Recordings of Rivers Cuomo]]'' and [[2008]]'s ''[[Alone II: The Home Recordings of Rivers Cuomo]]''.  The title "Alone III: The Pinkerton Years" comes from an [[August 19]], [[2010]] posting by [[Rivers Cuomo]] on the [[weezer.com]] forums.  On the release date of ''[[Hurley]]'', during the 98.7 radio event "Breakfast With Weezer", Cuomo stated that ''Alone III'' would come out in December 2010 and would contain the rest of the unreleased ''[[Songs from the Black Hole]]''. He later posted on his Facebook account that it has been green-lighted and will hopefully be released in January 2011. During a "[[Nerd Night]]" in September 2011, [[Sarah C. Kim]] stated that the album should be released in November.
