Weezer connection
Rainn Wilson would meet with Rivers Cuomo on January 22, 2009, with the intention to interview him for his website Soul Pancake. Cuomo was recording songs for a Sirius AltNation takeover event, so Wilson jokingly suggested he play bongos on the song they're recording. Rivers was receptive to this idea, and let him play on the track, a cover of "One of Us" by Joan Osbourne.[1]A clip from the session was released on Soul Pancake in March 2009.[2]
After this session he would interview Cuomo, released on April 24, 2009.[3]
Wilson would later name Weezer's seventh album Raditude.
