Draft:Weezer Recording Chronology

The Weezer Recording Chronology (WRC) is an attempt by Weezerpedia to create a successor to the Recording History, a detailed list of every demo, bootleg, and studio recording by the band Weezer and any directly associated bands, written by Karl Koch from the years of 2000 to 2011. Pages are separated by years.

How to read

Generally, the WRC consists of several headings, dating years or a certain time of year. Within those headings are sub-headings that give a brief explanation of what was recorded (in most cases, the title of the recording, and the time-frame of when it was recorded). An example is shown below:

Example, April 28, 2025

In the lede of each subheading, small notes are given on the sessions or material recorded. Additionally, a known recordings table details whatever we know about the material in a small, easy to read table.

Additionally, while the WRC is not a citable source by itself, various points in the WRC contain "Karlification Boxes", that contain a direct quote from Karl Koch himself. Some of these quotes may come from the original Recording History (some updated by Koch to be up to date and accurate), or may be statements given by Koch to Weezerpedia to help aid the project. An example of a Karlification Box is seen below.

Karlification!

Greetings. This battlestation is now operational. Well, kind of.
