Fortnite
Fortnite is a massively multiplayer online video game platform developed by Epic Games and released in 2017. Weezer features in many game modes of Fortnite, and the band has had official content created for the game.

Overview
Fortnite is split into multiple games, developed both by Epic Games themselves and independent developers. The game is perhaps best well known for Fortnite: Battle Royale, a player-versus-player mode where players compete to be the last person remaining in an arena with 100 players. Most relevant to Weezer, however, is Fortnite Festival, a spiritual follow-up to the Rock Band series of games, in which Weezer has made numerous appearances.
Connections to Weezer
Weezer World
In promotion of Weezer (The Black Album), Crush Music contracted Fortnite Creative map-making team Cre8 to create Weezer World, a small map that featured various minigames, and clean versions of various songs from Black.[1]
"Rock & Royale" radio station
When inside vehicles in the game, players can turn on the radio, where various Weezer songs can be heard on the station "Rock & Royale". Songs found include "All My Favorite Songs", all songs featured as jam tracks[citation needed], and notably, before its official release, "Records".[2]
Sweat(er) City
In celebration of Weezer (The Blue Album)'s 30th anniversary, Weezer initiated a collaboration with Fortnite map-making team Look North World. For one month, the studio turned its map "Sweat City" into "Sweat(er) City", an altered version featuring several references to Weezer and the album, such as a recreation of the "Buddy Holly" music video, and several objects that play the famous guitar lick from "Buddy Holly".[3]
Jam tracks
Coinciding with the release of Fortnite Festival, "jam tracks" were introduced to the game, which allowed players to play songs in Festival, and emote with songs in various other game modes of Fortnite. "Buddy Holly" was among one of the first jam tracks released, and was announced alongside the game mode.[4]
In celebration of Weezer (The Blue Album)'s 30th anniversary, two more jam tracks were released for "Undone - The Sweater Song" and "Say It Ain't So". A discounted bundle featuring them and "Buddy Holly" was released the same day.[5]
