Appearances

Overview

"I'm Lonely on a Saturday Night" is part of the Fulton Avenue Suite, a series of short song "sketches" written by Rivers Cuomo in April of 1994 at his apartment in Van Nuys. In this demo recording, Cuomo uses several lines from the 1983 song "Every Breath You Take" by The Police, presumably as filler lyrics.

Lyrics

I'm lonely on a Saturday night
Every bond you break
Every vow you take
I'll be watching you

I'm so lonely on a Saturday night
All the bonds you break
Step you take
I'll be watching you

Oh, that's the price I pay
Every night and day
I'll be watching you
I'll be watching you
I'll be watching you

Oh, lonely on a Saturday night
