'''weezer''' It gives us NO pleasure to announce that we have been struck down by the fickle Euro travel gods and CAN NOT get to Bilbao in time to play with @metallica tonight! Our dream is shattered and we are so sorry to everyone. Heres the deets… When the tour was originally arranged, the Metallica show was not a thing yet, so we were scheduled to lose the buses after Paris. When the Metallica show was added we found out that those buses had been immediately rebooked, and there were no other tour buses available in Europe for that one day. So our HEROIC crew drove all night from Paris (on a regular non-sleeper bus) to make it, and got everything set up in time. Meanwhile we had booked a rare private flight to avoid all the cancellations, delays, strikes, and chaos that is going on all over Europe right now. Sure thing, right? Right…? (Cue Padame/Anakin meme). This morning our tour manager talked to the pilots and confirmed all was well. We look into alternate planes. Were told there's one in Oslo that could get to us by 5:30, maybe. If it did, we could still make it.
