== "Buddy Holly" in Fortnite Festival ==
Hello again! I want to explain why we have removed the "Fortnite Festival" section from the Buddy Holly page and archived the article you wrote. I see that you are a new editor and understand that it takes time to become accustomed to the style of writing and formatting expected of work published to a wiki. To help with that learning process, I recommend that you read a handful of existing pages on various topics first to gain an understanding of what a page should look like, how it should sound, and what information should be included in certain parts of the wiki.
I understand that you are making edits in completely good faith because you feel that the information you are sharing is notable and relevant to the topic of the site. I do agree that Buddy Holly's appearance in Fortnite is notable and belongs somewhere on here! However, it is important that information is not given undue weight. As only a single Weezer song is present in Fortnite Festival amongst a large selection of music, we do not need an article explaining in detail what the gamemode is, in the same sense that we ''do not'' need an article for the Adam Sandler film ''Mr. Deeds'' because it contains a single Weezer song, or the animated show ''King of the Hill'' because it mentions Weezer by name. Similarly, creating an entire section for the song's Fortnite appearance on the main song article is also giving it undue weight: consider whether the writing, physical release, reception, and presence in the video game Fortnite are all of equal importance. Instead of creating a full section for the appearance in Fortnite, perhaps append a single sentence to the end of the main overview stating briefly what Fortnite Festival is and when the Weezer song was added. Or, it may be more in-line with existing practices on the wiki to instead make an entry for the appearance on the page [[List of Weezer song appearances in rhythm video games]] which lists similar appearances in other videogames.
I hope our policing does not discourage you from further contributions to the site! Most editors will have their writing re-worked, altered, or deleted on their first couple of tries while they try to figure out how to write in the correct style. Take these edits as suggestions on what you should do different in future edits, rather than condemnations of your work. If you need any advice or help figuring anything on the wiki out, you can leave a message on my user talk page! If you do, make sure to type: <nowiki>"~~~~"</nowiki> at the end of your message to sign and date it. Thanks!
