Don't put those previous day/next day things on the date pages. Date pages get transcluded onto the main page and that previous/next link does as well. If a date page does have something like that it needs to be inside <nowiki><noinclude></nowiki> tags. That way when the main page looks a date page for content it doesn't take those buttons.
