From the Diary of Mr. Mergist:
From the diary of Mergist:

"A lot went in the the production of the album.  Ryan and I found as many versions of the songs that we could.  We listened for hours and hours pulling out instrumentation and lyrics the best we could.  We soon settled on which songs would be primarily recorded in his studio in Illinois and which would be recorded in mine."

"That night, I had a dream"
"I was visited by 69 spirits.  They told me that if Ryan and I gave them our souls, we could make the greatest fan cover album of all time.  I did not believe them at first.  But then... they granted me one wish.  I wished for a life time supply of Vienna Sausages.  I laughed myself back to sleep.  When I awoke the next morning, I was swimming in a sea of un-canned Vienna Sausages.  I knew we now had the power within us."
"That day, I began work on what was to be known as 'Shiela(Can Do It)'.  I did not know where to start, then it happened.  Like a drunken angelic chorus, the souls of a thousand dying babies screamed in my ear all at once like melting ice cream in my brain, and I heard the accappella intro to the cover.  Like an ancient vision from the future... I heard the voices.  I knew it, and I knew that the spirits knew it.  I could not deny it."
Pretty neat, huh?
