Recording History is the name of an extensive chronological overview of demo and studio recordings made by Weezer or by individual band members from the late 80s to 2005. It was compiled by Karl Koch and originally introduced in 2000 on weezer.net (the official website's predecessor), where it was titled Weezer and it's "cousins": a recording history. It was later part of the info section on weezer.com until 2014. Over the years it had been updated and expanded. The last update was made in 2011 after the release of the deluxe edition reissue of Pinkerton and the (re)discovery of the song "Tragic Girl".<br>
In 2016 the Recording History was added to Weezerpedia and there are plans by Karl to update, correct, and possibly re-structure it.
