"Save Me" is an unreleased Weezer track. It was first recorded as an acoustic song in 2003 by Rivers Cuomo and was later released on the Alone IX: The Make Believe Years. The song would then turn into the track "I Was Made for You" in spring of 2004. This version would eventually be released on the first Alone album. In June of that same year the song would undergo another retool into the song "Someone Who Can Love". It would later regain its original title when demoed by Weezer themselves for the album Make Believe. It did not make the final cut.

Please Note: In 1998, Rivers created a song called Somebody Save Me, which had the same chord progression and type of melody for the chorus. It is unknown if this song stemmed from that.
