Fan recollection

Weezer-Rules mailing list member Patrick L. Killingsworth wrote about the concert:[2]

Well, I'm still recovering from the =w= show in Norfolk, Va. last tuesday. Even though I didn't get to meet the band (some 13-year old girl one a contest so she hung out with them after the concert and such), I had a great time. I think I was the only person in the whole club who knew who Karl was, so I was surprised that when I called his name and waved to him he just glanced at me. I guess I shouldn't be, since he had to take care of all the amps and guitars and stuff.

Also, to everyone who always says that they're dissapointed that Rivers never looks like he's having fun. Well, he has to be close to the mic in order to sing, you know. Besides, when I saw 'em, he was really jamming on the solos.
