Weezer opened for Sloan at Jabberjaw in Los Angeles, California on May 24, 1993. Among those in attendance was Sloan's A&R rep Todd Sullivan, who was also interested in Weezer, Justin Fisher and Adam Orth who had just arrived in Los Angeles for the first time. Justin picked him up at LAX and proceeded directly to the club.
