Halfway through Placebo's set, Rivers Cuomo playfully threw an empty water bottle at drummer Steve Hewitt, as the crowd chanted his name and flashed Flying =W=s.[1] A clown wig was thrown on stage prompting the crowd to shout for guitarist Brian Molko to wear it. Cuomo would eventually don the wig for part of Weezer's set.[2]
