Overview
The Zoom demo was recorded in late 1989 or early 1990 at an unknown studio in Los Angeles, California. It features two new tracks written by the band, "Power Talk" and "Street Life".[1] It initially leaked in April 2003 on weezerville.tk, by weezer.com boardie Drefan_Rahl.[2]
Zoom had other unused songs at this time, including "Farmer's Daughter" and "Hold On", but weren't recorded or included on this tape for unknown reasons.[1]
