Weezer concert: 08/25/2001
(Redirected from 2001-08-25 - San Bernardino, CA)
Weezer performed at the Hyundai Pavilion for the KROQ Inland Invasion festival in San Bernardino, California on August 25, 2001. This was Scott Shriner's first show with the band, and during the show he was tackled on stage by a fan who was later determined to be a friend and former bandmate of his.[1][2] When asked how the other band members reacted to the situation during a 2008 fan interview, he stated "They were really surprised to find out it was a friend of mine. That guy broke me out of my stage fright and the rest of the show was great."
