Overview
A recording of a guitar riff by Cuomo, labeled "402.mp3", was released as part of digital demo compilation Alone VIII: The Maladroit Years in 2020. In November of 2002, Cuomo recorded an acoustic demo titled "Love Is the Reason" at his home.[2] The song was demoed (presumably as a band) at S.I.R. Rehearsal Studios a few weeks later.[2]
