Back | Back in the Garage is an unlicensed CD-R bootleg credited to the labels and Y2K Entertainment and Trade Mark of Quality, released in 1999. The audio for the first 16 tracks are sourced from a recording of Weezer August 21, 1996 performance at the Garage in London, UK. The final two tracks come from the band's April 1, 1995 live radio performance at Cat's Paw Studios in Atlanta, GA, although the bootleg simply labels the songs "Live x Atrantasic". Numerous additional credits are included on the back of the CD-R's art, including "Afganistansic Communication Inc." (also "Afganistan pirate satelitessic communication Inc."), "United Supernova", "WAR(is OVER) International Inc" (apparently "for all the other nations"), and "still underground company" (to whom the bootleg's cover art is attributed). The photo used on its front art is originally a 1996 promotional photo shot by Arton Corbijn and distributed by Geffen Records.
At the beginning of "Tired of Sex" | At the beginning of "Tired of Sex" is a short cover of Iron Maiden "The Trooper". The acoustic version of "No One Else" included as track 17 of this bootleg is the same version which later appears on disc two of the 2004 deluxe edition of Weezer (The Blue Album). Some tracks are rendered with incorrect titles on the bootleg's art, notably including: "Natural Charms" ("Falling for You"), "Say It Isn't So" ("Say It Ain't So"), and "Surf Sex" ("Surf Wax America").
