Overview
Overview
"I'll Think About You" was originally written by Rivers Cuomo on July 14, 1994, while visiting his mother in Connecticut, and demoed around the same time. The song was revisited in 1997 when Rivers considered it for the side-project Homie. Cuomo recorded a DA-88 demo in September of that year and performed it at Homie concerts in November. During live performances, Cuomo acknowledged the song's resemblance to the theme song to Sesame Street.

Cuomo demoed the song in September of 1997 with Drew Parsons on bass, Jay Buckley on keyboards, and Fred Eltringham on drums. This demo was released in 2008 on the compilation Alone II: The Home Recordings of Rivers Cuomo. The group subsequently recorded "I'll Think About You" as part of a full Homie album, likely at Fort Apache Studios in Boston, but none of these recordings have surfaced and may be lost.
