"Happy Together" is a 60s pop classic by The Turtles.  When [[Spike Jonze]] was finishing his film ''Adaptation'' in early 2002, he asked his friends weezer to record a cover of the song for inclusion in the film.  The band rehearsed, recorded, and even performed the song live during the spring, but for reasons unknown, Jonze decided to use The Turtles' original in the final cut.  weezer's studio version remains unreleased, although a live soundboard recording was reelased at the official site, and is frequently traded digitally online.
