Following completion on the band's fourth album, ''[[Maladroit]]'', [[Weezer]] immediately began work on a planned fifth album, [[Album 5 demos|recording new demos]] throughout the spring and summer of [[2002]]. Two demos of "The Organ Player" (recorded at Sunset Sound Recorders in Los Angeles and The Lodge in Indianapolis, respectively) were shared with fans on the band's [[weezer.com|official website]].
