 After being properly recorded for ''Maladroit'', [[Rivers Cuomo]] felt the recording was lacking in some way.  When the band decided to release the song as the album's second single, he took it as a perfect opportunity to re-record the track entirely, embellishing it significantly. This new version, completed in the spring of [[2002]], is the so-called "Radio Version" featured on various single releases, as well as the music video.
