The title was later repurposed for [[High as a Kite|the ''Black Album'' track of the same name]]. It went by the title "'''This Girl'''" until shortly prior to the album's release. Cuomo co-wrote the song with [[Jonny Coffer]], who previously co-wrote the [[Weezer]] songs "[[Jacked Up]]," "[[Feels Like Summer]]," and "[[Get Right]]." "Living in L.A." was surprise released alongside "High as a Kite", on [[February 21]], [[2019]] and was debuted live on [[February 26]], [[2019]] on ''[[Weezer TV appearance: 02/26/2019 - The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon|The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon]]''.
