The coolest thing is how the original decor has survived intact, though quite a bit dusty in places. Everything has a sort of Morrocan flavor, and if you squint you can sort of still see the couples dancing en masse to the jazz orchestras of the 20's, 30's and 40's. Its a great room to see a show in. The neighbrohood around the club has been far from elegant for many years, but for the first time in my memory, it seems to be looking up! The 2 harbingers: A Starbucks and a Borders Books!
