 In August, roughly two weeks before the beginning of the tour, an unknown quantity of promotional packages were sent to random fans. These contained a musical gag card, a sticker, and an unmarked white cassette. The card was produced by Joker Greeting and plays "[[Buddy Holly]]" continuously when opened. It additionally ejects confetti when an enclosed string is pulled. The sticker features an illustration of the ''[[Weezer (The Blue Album)|Blue Album]]'' artwork and the text "You Just Got Weezered". The cassette, housed in a blank blue J-card, contains narration by [[Rivers Cuomo]] previewing the upcoming tour, followed by the entirety of [[Weezer's third demo]] (not including "[[Surf Wax America]]").
