This show was supposed to take place at UNO Lakefront Arena, but allegedly was moved due to low ticket sales.<ref>@keepmywords "In 1995, I had tickets to see Weezer on tour for the Blue Album at the UNO Lakefront Arena in New Orleans. The show didn’t sell enough tickets, so it was moved to an 18+ or 21+ venue, maybe Tipitina’s. I was not old enough to go, and I was super bummed. I’ve seen Weezer since, but tonight I am finally seeing the Blue Album live in its entirety at Madison Square Garden. Not only that, but the seller cancelled my StubHub tickets for tonight, so StubHub offered me floor seats for the same price. It’s like 1995 making up for its mistakes. Childhood-me would’ve never imagined that this would be happening nearly 30 years later. Amazing.
