Jocobono, late spring-early summer 1995
Jocobono was a band from Boston, Massachusetts that was active from mid 1995 to early 1997.
Mikey Welsh left Heretix in early 1995 and joined the new lineup of local band Stompbox (who then changed their name to Slower). However, after months of discussions with Billy O’Malley and Todd Perlmutter about forming a band, Welsh joined them for rehearsals that would eventually lead to the recording of their first and only album, Jocobono. The album was recorded over a period of two days at New Alliance Studios in Boston. Welsh played on 5 tracks while the whole band contributed handclaps to "Beasts".
