Overview
Bell first wrote "Yellow Camaro", with the intention of it being recorded by Weezer, in early 2002.  Just after the recording of Maladroit, Weezer began to record new songs at a feverish pace, with sights set on recording another album very quickly.  These recordings are known as the Album 5 Demos, and many new approaches were taken, with one of them being opening up the songwriting to include contributions from members other that Rivers Cuomo.  This song was Brian's first effort.
