Hey, I'm Wendy (that's a lie), I go to Round Rock High School (near Austin,TX),of which I'm the most obsessed with Weezer. I first took notice of Weezer from (admittedly) [[Beverly Hills]] from there I bought [[Make Believe]] (My First Album!)and quickly devoured the rest of Weezer's Discography. My true revelation that I was a Weezer fan came from the opening line of [[El Scorcho]] when River's annouced his love of Asian girls (:) just like ME!). I found this a total turnaround of how I viewed rock stars and found myself really connecting with what River's sings. Since then Weezer is undoubtedly my favorite band although my other musical taste have expanded since the 8th grade. On Oct. 20th 2008, I attended a Weezer concert (my first concert!...and yes Weezer did break my musical virginity.)I can honestly say I wouldn't have had such a great high school experience as they truly inspired me to accept my quirks as that's just what makes me and found out that not only did I accept me but so did every one else. From then on I found myself really enjoying school and now have a half-Filipino girlfriend (who shreds the violin and is good friends with a redhead.) Thanks, Weezer!
