Fuzz played 2 shows, both on Sundays, and both at the Coconut Teaszer. While only Rivers can remember there being 2 shows, he is adamant of this as fact, agrees that they were on Sundays (typically a catch-all night at the Teaszer, with lots of bands playing short sets, for free admission) and is the most reliable source thereof.

Pat Finn was making frequent commutes down to Los Angeles in early 1991 from the Bay area, watched Fuzz practice several times, and recalls going to at least one show. "I remember sitting on Rivers' Randall amp (that he sold me, that I still have), at the Coconut Teaszer [as Fuzz played]. Rivers wore the bucket hat and that brown and orange striped pullover. It was powerful, but not many folks were there unfortunately. Typical "non-prime night Teaszer crowd". But I was not going to miss that show! I had to drive down from Petaluma in my Escort that was missing a window."

Patrick Wilson recalls that as far as he can remember, they only played the one Coconut Teaszer show, and that it happened after they made their 3/9/91 demo tape, which places it sometime after March 9, but before the bands dissolution which would have been sometime in April, and almost certainly before May. "People liked it, [we played] maybe 5-6 songs?"

The most likely date of the show based on scraps of circumstantial evidence was Sunday, April 7, 1991. However there are 2 other Sundays around that time that might possibly be the show date as well. Furthermore, there exists the possibility that there were in fact 2 Fuzz shows, both at the Teaszer (and both on Sundays). This is based on Rivers' own recollection in an interview that they played twice, but this is tentative because no other witness recalls more than one show.
