| As a follow-up to ''Zerwee'', this album continues the theme of repurposing [[Weezer]]'s sound, however the music present in this project tends to incorporate a much moodier and low-energy sound than its predecessor. Cobb comments on the production and tone of the album in the description of its release on YouTube, stating:

| <blockquote>Surprise! I know I was very vehement that I wasn’t going to do a third Zerwee project, and I meant it, but as time went on I decided that maybe I’d consider it if the timing felt right. It’s been 6 years since the last Zerwee (that’s a bigger leap than Pinkerton to Green!) and my apathetic feelings on the project have changed a bit since then, so I thought I’d complete a trilogy; it’s the year of the 3, as Gabe Newell would say. This project just bursted out of me, much like the first. Something I thought the second record lacked was the upbeat, tongue-in-cheek attitude that the first one had, and I wanted to try to capture that energy again. We could all use a little pick-me-up right now. Here’s to the new year and good fortune, and don’t go anywhere because I plan on releasing another full length album this year as well as plenty of fun videos and animations.<br>
