Overview
Overview
Dig was released in conjunction with Like Nobody's Business, and is currently out of print.  As that album does not feature Bell, it is reasonable to assume he does not appear on this EP as well, though that is yet to be confirmed.  It features what appears to be the only officially-released live track in the band's history.  It is not known whether the versions here of "Mr. Blue Veins" and "Octopus" are the same as found on 1991's Thrumdrone, or "Juice Dawg" the same as that on the Blue Food & Black Sparks EP, but again, as those versions feature Bell, it is likely these are not the same versions.
Dig was released in late 1990, just prior to the early 1991 LP Thrumdrone, and is currently out of print.  It contains the album versions of "Mr. Blue Veins" and "Octopus", as well as the non-LP track "Juice Dawg", which later appeared on the Blue Food & Black Sparks EP.  The disc also features what appears to be the only officially-released live track in the band's history - "No Thanks To Eve", which later appeared in a studio rendition on a single.

The disc was shipped to radio stations along with a press kit, including an 8x10 glossy photo, and a psychedelic-era style poster.

Dig represents the earliest recorded and photographic evidence of sass.
