Unfortunately, Cello filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Jan 28th, 2005, which meant the reorganization and liquidation of assets, both land and gear.  It was reported at the time that an offer for $4 million was rejected.  Most pundits at the time agreed that the fate of the legendary studios might lay in the hands of the wrong developer and creditors who have little regard for such a musical landmark.
