*'''Not Emo:''' Weezer is not an emo band. Emo bands don't release songs like "[[I'm Your Daddy]]" and "[[The Girl Got Hot]]." ''[[Pinkerton]]'' was huge, though. Even though emo music probably would have happened without it, Pinkerton was a nice rallying point for all the angsty white guys that would eventually form the bands that the article talks about.
