The original demo was intended to be for ''Songs from the Black Hole''.  It was sung by Rivers Cuomo, but pitch-shifted to show that it was meant to be sung by [[Laurel]], who at the time would be played by [[Rachel Haden]].  In the song, Laurel sings about rejecting [[Jonas]], despite being in love with him.  Some lines could refer to a lover she has back on Earth ("Even though my love's a world away"), or perhaps Jonas left for his mission and landed on [[Nomis]], leaving Laurel on [[Betsy|Betsy II]].
