'''"Holiday"''' is the ninth track on ''[[Weezer (The Blue Album)|The Blue Album]]''. It is also the B-side to an [[Undone - The Sweater Song|Undone single.  It was written out of excitement shortly after the band was signed.

==Overview==
Holiday has strong influences from the things Rivers was interested in at the time of 1993.  In the Rivers Cuomo fan interview, Rivers expressed that Jack Kerouac was one of his favorite philosophers at the time.  In the notable breakdown of the song (the band often refers to these as Beach Boys Breakdowns), Rivers mentions being ''On the road with Kerouac.''  The song also makes extensive use of doo-wop acapella, organs and complex harmonies, all trademarks of Blue Album writing.  A demo of Holiday has been leaked.  However, in the demo, the breakdown features no lyrics (which Rivers has referred to as improvised).
