Style
Supersport 2000 employed the same guitar-driven pop sound that Weezer and The Rentals made the use of, but with a more lo-fi, shoegaze affect. Perhaps their most notable musical difference from those bands is that they are significantly less hook-oriented.

History
Both of the band's official releases came out in 1995: Pink Slip and Supersport 2000. Members of the Weezer Fan Club received a free cassette of the former, which also included the songs "17 Braids" and "I Love Christian Stone." In 1998, the band contributed "Faster Kiddies" to the album Hear You Me! A Tribute To Mykel And Carli.

Post breakup
Since the band dissolved, Cervera has worked with Weezer numerous times in side musician and engineering/production roles. Westrich has pursued a career in the automotive industry. She appeared in the reality television show Overhaulin. In 2018, she unsuccessfully ran for a seat in the Iowa State House of Representatives, losing by 10%.
