It was initially recorded by [[Rivers Cuomo]] in February of 2001, and later recorded by the band during the [[DC Demos]], [[BBC Sessions]], and multiple times during the [[Maladroit Demos|recording sessions for ''Maladroit'']]. The song was recorded at Sunset Sound for the [[Album 5 Demos|sessions for the band's planned fifth album]], but said recordings are not presently in circulation.
