CSB.jpg"Everybody Wants a Chance to Feel All Alone" is a demo recorded by Weezer during their "Office Demo," sessions from 2002 to 2008.
Weezer_Maladroit.jpg"December" is the thirteenth and final track on Weezer's 2002 album "Maladroit.".

Also known as RC #397, the song first appears in the Recording History with the title "Furthest of Seas". It is unknown what is different between the two songs. The first known appearance of the song is on October 9, 2002, at the S.I.R. studios in Los Angeles. Rivers Cuomo was the only one present on the recording.
"December" was first recorded on May 27, 2001 at Monster Island Studios in Washington, D.C., during a stop on the Hooptie Tour, with the intention of sending the recordings to prospective producers for the band's planned fourth album. Several of these recordings were posted to weezer.com, but "December" was not among them. The song was attempted again for the Radio 1 show The Evening Session, presented by Steve Lamacq, on June 13, 2001. Normally, bands record four songs to promote a new album, but Weezer performed eight entirely new songs. "December" was not one of the songs aired, but was finished in Los Angeles on July 9 and later released for free on weezer.com. The song was brought back during the sessions for Maladroit in December of that year. The band shared several in-progress recordings of the song with fans during the album's production.

The song's next appearance is as "Everybody Wants a Chance to Feel All Alone", on November 1, 2002 at the SIR acoustic rehearsal. Also recorded here was an acoustic demo of "Private Message", which has been released online for free. Following this appearance, the song was frequently rehearsed by the band acoustically. It was even played live at the Hotel Cafe on November 3, but no recording is known to exist. It is believed that the version fans have is from the November 1 set.
