"Turn Me Round" was recorded in 2003 during the S.I.R. Demos, making it an early Album 5 demo, and for a long time it was even a contender for Make Believe. The song was played live only once, when Weezer opened up for Guns n' Roses, but no bootleg has ever surfaced. The song had a bit of a following amongst Weezer's more devout fan base for several years before it was released.

You were as cute as could be
You were as cute as could be
I needed a family around me
I needed a family around me
Over the course of a year
Over the course of a year
I slowly lost my interest

Turn me 'round, turn me 'round
Turn me 'round, turn me 'round

We all need love around us
[...]the love around us
And so I made a promise
And so I made a promise
I tried my best to keep it
I tried my best to keep it
But then I tire of it
But then I tire of it
Tired of seeing your face
Tired of seeing your face
Cleaning up after your mess
Cleaning up after your mess
Buying the food that you eat
Buying the food that you eat
Now I've got to leave you
And I have got to leave you

Now, turn me 'round
Turn me 'round, turn me 'round
Now, turn me 'round
Turn me 'round, turn me 'round

Come over again, come over again
Come over again, come over again
Come over until I've had enough of you my friend
Come over until I've had enough of you, my friend

Tired of seeing your face
Tired of seeing your face
Cleaning up after your mess
Cleaning up after your mess
Buying the food that you eat
Buying the food that you eat
Now I've got to leave you
And I have got to leave you

Now, turn me 'round
Turn me 'round, turn me 'round
Now, turn me 'round
Turn me 'round, turn me 'round

Turn me 'round
