Shortly after the filming of the first [[Island in the Sun]] video, [[Mikey Welsh]] was mysteriously hospitalized. His whereabouts were previously unknown, as he mysteriously went missing before the filming of the second video for "Island in the Sun". Weezer was prompted to find a temporary replacement for Welsh.
