The '''Steakhouse Demos''' were recordings Weezer made at Steakhouse Studios from [[October 21]]st through [[November 1]]st, 2001.  These sessions were among the band's first concerted attempts at a fourth album. During these sessions, the band played a live show at Hollywood's Knitting Factory on October 24th under the psuedonym [[Goat Punishment]]. This show was filmed and broadcast on HBO as part of their concert series ''Reverb''.
