 The song initially debuted on [[October 18]], [[2017]] at the [[Weezer concert: 10/18/2017 - Brussels, Belgium|Ancienne Belgique in Brussels, Belgium]], appearing on the setlist under the title "I'll Love You Every Day". The song was subsequently listed as "A Ballad for the Fallen Soldier", and was performed for the remainder of the [[Feels Like Summer Tour]] in Europe in October of 2017. The song was performed one additional time the following December in Portland, Oregon. The song was played after "[[Happy Hour]]" at all concerts in which it was played.

Asked about whether it was intended to be a full-fledged song, Cuomo replied: "I can't remember, but the band [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/5_Seconds_of_Summer|5 Seconds of Summer] comes to mind. Did they record it, or did I send it to them? I can't remember [...] I know [[Jake Sinclair|Jake]] [Sinclair], the producer of ''[[Weezer (The White Album)|The White Album]]'', really loved it and he ended up producing some of their songs, so I think he may have cut it with them, but I don't know if it ever came out."
