A studio recording of "On the Edge" was demoed by the band sometime thereafter, and was subsequently shared online with fans. A slightly truncated version of the same recording was distributed by [[Rivers Cuomo]] to fans as part of [[Summer_Songs_of_2000#.22Official.22_SS2K_release|the "Official" SS2K "album"]] in November of [[2001]].
