==Fight For The Right==
The operation I had in 1995 to correct my unequal leg length. They cut my femur in half and put my leg in a steel-frame; each day I would turn some screws on the frame so that it would extend and increase the space in the break in my bone. After 13 months that space filled in and my leg was longer. Two months in I was back out on the road with Weezer, stumbling around with a cane.

The Lisa referred to in the 1995 song "Lisa" (not to be confused with the Green Album b-side, "Oh Lisa"). She was our manager's daughter. She did day to day management for the band in 1993-1995. Note all the "girl name" songs I wrote in that era were about women in the industry who worked with Weezer, Jaime Young, Lisa Cavalla, Susanne Filkins.
