The melody from "Burning Sun" was later reused for the ''[[Pacific Daydream]]'' track, "[[Weekend Woman]]", and was considered for the [[2014]] album ''[[Everything Will Be Alright in the End]]'' under the title "Weekend Girl". It is believed that [[Ric Ocasek]], who produced both ''The Green Album'' and ''EWBAITE'', asked Cuomo to revisit some of his ''Green''-era compositions for inclusion on ''EWBAITE'', and that "Burning Sun" was one such song (the song "[[Lonely Girl]]" from ''EWBAITE'' also originated during the ''Green'' sessions, possibly under the title "Homely").
