Humble Shack: Difference between revisions

On [[May 21]], [[2020]], Cropper first performed the song in full during a "Golden Hour" stream for his Facebook and Instagram followers. Cropper continued performing the song during weekly Golden Hour performances throughout the year. The song was released as a single on [[December 18]], [[2020]]. Cropper's daughters Kiefer and Devon contribute backing vocals on the track. According to Cropper, he used inspirations from Weezer and his old band Chopper One to write the instrumentals for the song. He also pointed out a similarity to the Chopper One song, “Touch My Fuzz”, in which he would play the chorus of as the bridge of Humble Shack during his performances on his weekly Golden Hour.
